Hello podficcer! I'm so excited to be doing this exchange again, my 7th year! Here are all the fandoms and ships I'm most interested in:

-EXO (Kpop RPF): My main ships are Kai/Sehun or Kai/DO. I like them both equally. I'd be happy with a story rated anywhere between gen-explicit. I prefer AUs over "canon compliant" (idolverse) stories, and I especially like college AUs or AUs were they have interesting jobs.

-BTS (Kpop RPF): My favorite ships are RM/Jin, or RM/Yoongi, or Yoongi/Jin. I'd take a RM/Jin/Yoongi OT3 only if they are all very happy with the situation- no jealous/cheating etc please. I'd be happy with a story rated anywhere between gen-explicit. For any of these pairings, no matter the POV, I like both pining/"there's no way he likes me" stories but also already-established domestic relationship fluff.

-Monsta X (Kpop RPF): My favorite ship is Kihyun/IM. I like stories were Kihyun is very bossy and IM is very into it :D I'd be happy with a story rated anywhere between gen-explicit.

-Seventeen (Kpop RPF): I am newer to this group and still getting to know them so I'd honestly take any pairing. I've read and liked Jeonghan/Seungcheol, Jeonghan/Mingyu, Mingyu/Jihoon, and Seungkwan/Vernon and I would also probably like any story that has Seungkwan as a main character. For this fandom, I'd prefer stories with rating from gen to teen.

-Stray Kids (Kpop RPF): Also newer to them, but I adore Han/Lee Know. I'd be happy with a story rated anywhere between gen-explicit.

-Mamamoo (Kpop RPF): There aren't that many stories to chose from and I've probably looked at almost all the ones with BP already, but I really like gen stories or stories rated teen (specifically AUs) about Moonbyul, any ship or no ship.

Secondary fandoms:

-Merlin! I know the show ended ages ago, but Merlin/Arthur is the OTP of my heart. They are my boys forever. I much prefer modern AUs to stories set in the canon of the show, especially college AUs or ones where they have interesting jobs. Modern royalty stories make my heart melt with happiness <3 Also I like Morgana/Gwen as a side ship. Or Gwen/Lance. Or Morgana/Morgause. Or Morgana/Gwaine. Or Morgana/Leon. (Basically I just love Morgana, or any story which includes a wide secondary character cast.) I also love Gwen, and always enjoy character-study type stories which focus on her, whether romantic or not. For this fandom, I am happy with stories of any rating from gen to explicit.

-Check Please. I adore this comic and this world and all of the characters. My main ship is Ransom/Holster. I'm much less interested in fic about Jack and Bitty because I feel their story is being perfectly told in the comic. But there are so many side stories about what Hols and Rans could be doing when the camera is elsewhere :3 I'm equally happy with stories set in the canon of Samwell, or AUs. For this fandom, I'd prefer stories with rating from gen to teen.

-Transformers, specifically, stories set in Astolat's semi-AU world.... So okay, I actually know nothing about the canon of Transformers, any version. But I got completely sucked into Astolat's Transformers fic series and read all of it. I literally have to google what the characters look like because I have no idea, but I don't care. My main ship in Optimus Prime/Megatron, give me that good good enemies to lovers stuff. For this fandom, I am happy with stories of any rating from gen to explicit.

-Carry On/Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell. Obviously I ship Simon/Baz. I have read almost no fic in this fandom, so anything you pick would be new to me! I'd be interested in an AU or a story set in the canon world, either during the events of the books or after the end of the books. For this fandom I would prefer a story rated between gen and teen.

Things I like in fic in general:
I love stories that make me laugh.
Pranks, banter, shenanigans, ill-advised ideas (that turn out to be great ideas!)
Idiots-to-lovers or enemies-to-allies-to-friends-to-lovers trope.
"Can our love end the war?" trope.
Happy endings.
AUs in other canons- for example, Kpop group is now a Star Trek space crew.
Fake-to-real.
Cross-dressing/drag.
Boys in lingerie, girls in suits, nonbinary people finding their perfect look.
Genderplay/gender exploration/gender fluidity.
Bisexual characters, pansexual characters, trans characters, aro and ace characters.
Side-ships. I love it when I've got two teams to root for!
OT3, OT4, etc only if EVERYONE IS VERY HAPPY and there is no jealousy.
I like when it's obvious the fic writer has a ton of niche knowledge about something and decided to put it ALL into the story.
For Kpop RPF, I like when the characters are written as culturally Korean, and in my reading I try to prioritize stories set in Korea, or if they live in another country, it is explained why/how the whole Korean friend group ended up there.

Things I'm not into:
Omega verse.
Rule 63.
Pregnancy- male or female.
Characters parenting biological children.
Character death and/or very serious medical emergencies.
Love triangles in which one person is doomed to be unhappy/alone/excluded.
Non-con or dub-con.
Serious BDSM.
Underage.
Apocalypses AUs, especially zombies.
Excessive pain/torture/abuse.
Derogatory or demeaning language between lovers.

A bit more clarification for the gender stuff- if a character's gender is going to be changed from the canon, I want that character to be written as trans or nonbinary or agender and for the story to explore that. I don't want a Rule 63 story that's just "with no interrogation, this character is just a different gender now". That is- everything I can think of right now. YAY! I can't wait to hear your podfic :D

shinysherlock and I teamed up for our first ever Pod-Together over the summer! We brainstormed a story together which Shiny wrote and I recorded with Signis and WhiteHaru37. It was an extremely fun project and I hope we can do a lot more collabing in the future :D Here is the AO3 post which has the full text, audio streaming, and audio download links.

This story is set in the Firefly universe but you don’t necessarily need to know anything about Firefly to enjoy it; imagine the setting in the BTS MV for “ON” with a space travel component and you’ll be good to go!

My second Pod-together piece was a Yuri on Ice/Star Wars crossover. Victor Nikiforov is a Jedi Knight and hero of the recent war. Yurio is his angry, resentful padawan, 0T4B3K a droid, Phichit a pilot, Chris the monarch of an underwater kingdom and Yuri is a Twi’lek ice-dancer from the planet Hasetsu.

This was a project rooted in memory, written and designed by opalsong. The podficcers were given a text; out of order, in 5 parts, over 5 weeks; and asked to read it one time and then later (without looking at the text again) record what they remembered. Each podfic is different and yet has similar threads. There are seven versions, which range in length from 7 minutes to over an hour. Each one is unique and experimental. Mine came in at 43 minutes, and I had a lot of fun adding music and sound effects to it. Each story has a different rating- mine is teen. You can find them all, plus the text and transcripts, here on AO3.

Voiceteam 2020 ends tomorrow and it feels like the last day of summer camp. Since May first I have been in the most collaborative, friendly, creative, and wildly productive fandom space I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. Voiceteam divided nearly 100 podficcers and podfic fans into eight teams who collectively made around a thousand pieces of fanwork in just 4 weeks ranging from fanart, cosplay photos, filk, playlists, and podfics of all kinds. It challenged us to try things we had never done before, from new editing styles, to recording outside, to roping in non-podfic friends, to incorporating nonhuman noises. It encouraged us to work together both within our own team and across all teams. It rewarded us for leaving comments on each other’s work and generally just celebrating and loving everything that everyone was doing. I am so glad I got to be part of this, and I can’t wait to be part of it again! I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU SHOUT OUT to the mods, klb, cantarina, and forzandopod, who have made this whole month just wonderful. What a good idea, and what good timing. This has been the most fun I've had in fandom in a long time- maybe ever? I've moderated things in the past and I know that it is SO MUCH WORK- a thousand thank yous for doing such a good job, pouring your heart into it, and bringing a ton of joy to many many people. You all rock. I can't wait for Voiceteam 2021!!

I participated this year in the Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology, a celebration of female characters in fandom which is in its NINTH YEAR. I have only participated one other time in the past (I think 2015?) but it's rad and you should check it out if you like podfic. Extra bonus love if it includes dumb jokes and sound effects <3

I like very short stories which show how secondary characters witnessed events (things Harry maybe wasn't aware of, because he is oblivious). I also like stories set after the book series that are like tiny windows into what secondary characters are doing as adults. But no sexy stories- gen only, please, and nothing over a PG rating.

-Wolf 359 podcast. I'm honestly not sure if there is much fic for this show, because I've never really looked, but I've gotten completely hooked on listening to it recently. I don't ship any of the characters, and am not interested in any shippy story, but would be very interested in a gen story set in the world of the show.

I have been a podfic listener for years, but am very very new to making podfic, so you probably do not know me! This is my first year doing ITPE and I am very excited.

Here's a summary of my fandoms and ships:

-One Direction :DDD I've been completely sucked in for the past year (since release of Four). My main ship is Ziam, but I also love Larry, Lilo and Zarry. I cannot see Niall as a sexual being, he is too much of a dandelion, so I do not want him shipped with anyone, but obviously I enjoy him as a side character. For stories, I mostly prefer AUs to canon-compliant. This is the fandom in which I read the kinkiest stories. I dip into dom/sub and bondage with these boys, which I do not read for any other fandom.

-Sherlock BBC. This one is a bit trickier because I am a huge Sherlock fan and do ship John/Sherlock but I only like really lighthearted stories. Because of this, I actually have not read very much fic, as so much of it is very dark. So I ship them, but only if it's silly, like in the "Two Coffees, One Black, One with Sugar Please" series.

-J2. Basically J2 is for porn and pining. I love AUs of any kind.

-Avengers. I love the Avengers as characters and have seen almost all of the movies, plus read Matt Fraction's Hawkeye series, but I don't have a strong ship preference, so have only read a few mostly plot or team focused stories here and there. I would probably enjoy any story that focused more on plot with only a light dash of shippiness... Tony/Steve, Steve/Bucky, Tony/Bruce, Bruce/Natasha, Natasha/Clint... I'm pretty open.

-I read a lot and love many book series. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, The Vorkosigan Series by Lois McMaster Bujold, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (Simon/Baz), The Montmaray Series by Michelle Cooper (Toby/Simon), The Raven Cycle, Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, and also The Winter Prince by Elizabeth Wein (which is practically a Merlin AU already...) I would enjoy stories based on these books that fit in with the tone of the books.

Things I like in fic in general:
I will pretty much always take humor over angst.
Happy endings.
AUs.
