Pod-Together stories :)

shinysherlock and I teamed up for our first ever Pod-Together over the summer! We brainstormed a story together which Shiny wrote and I recorded with Signis and WhiteHaru37. It was an extremely fun project and I hope we can do a lot more collabing in the future :D Here is the AO3 post which has the full text, audio streaming, and audio download links.

Title: Wings

Length: words- 1691; audio- 17 minutes.

Summary: Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi, young veterans of the Unification war, may have been on the losing side, but they’re not convinced it was the wrong one. Their new journey together begins with one first step–choosing a new ship, a new place to call home.

NAMJOON. That’s. A lot bigger than we talked about.
YOONGI. Well. The dream got bigger.

This story is set in the Firefly universe but you don’t necessarily need to know anything about Firefly to enjoy it; imagine the setting in the BTS MV for “ON” with a space travel component and you’ll be good to go!

My second Pod-together piece was a Yuri on Ice/Star Wars crossover. Victor Nikiforov is a Jedi Knight and hero of the recent war. Yurio is his angry, resentful padawan, 0T4B3K a droid, Phichit a pilot, Chris the monarch of an underwater kingdom and Yuri is a Twi’lek ice-dancer from the planet Hasetsu.

This was a project rooted in memory, written and designed by opalsong. The podficcers were given a text; out of order, in 5 parts, over 5 weeks; and asked to read it one time and then later (without looking at the text again) record what they remembered. Each podfic is different and yet has similar threads. There are seven versions, which range in length from 7 minutes to over an hour. Each one is unique and experimental. Mine came in at 43 minutes, and I had a lot of fun adding music and sound effects to it. Each story has a different rating- mine is teen. Chromatic Characters Podfic Anthology

I was very happy to contribute 5 short stories to the first ever Chromatic Characters Podfic Podfic Anthology! This dreamwidth link includes a podbook of all the anthology stories edited together, Awesome Ladies Anthology style, into one 9.5 hour audio file! Alternately, you can find many of the individual stories posted here in the AO3 collection.

All my stories range from 6-9 minutes and are rated teen or below- I recorded three stories Gwen from BBC Merlin (all featuring Gwen/Morgana), one gen story about Justin "Ransom" Oluransi from Check Please! And a short superhero AU with Kim Seokjin and Min Yoongi from BTS :D
