Changing your dreamwidth layout

I have been on dreamwidth since 2013, but was still using a very old journal layout (one of the premade ones which you can click on via the dreamwidth) and it felt really old and stale. But! Poppyseedheart showed me this dreamwidth community full of custom layouts people made, and well as very simple steps on how to switch over to them and I, a non-tech person, was able to switch to a new one I really like and now dreamwidth feels like a whole new website and I hope to post a lot more. ooOOOH your layout looks so nice! maybe i'll take a look someday, currently i've settled for just changing the colors a lot on one of the standard layouts

Thank you for the link! I need to poke around that community to figure out a layout. 2009!me could figure it out on my old journal, so I must be able to figure it out now, too ... (famous last words ...)
